These Boots are Made for Posin'

I wonder if Doc Martens would be interested in this image for an ad campaign?

Rafael P.

Remember that episode of Friends where Phoebe is very bendy... so is Rafael.

Contortionist

The model had a pose in a drawing he wanted to capture in a photograph.  I'm not sure we ever got the exact pose, but we did get a couple cool shots, I think.

And a few more from that shoot

Now that Summer is Gone...

It may be next year before I get back to some outdoor shoots.  The upside is you can do some interesting things with lighting.

I didn't like this one at first, then I tinkered with the contrast a little.

Usually the black and white is more artistic; but sometimes color is good, too.

Weekend Shoot

Photos from yesterday.  New (for me) approach to lighting that yielded some good results.  Doesn't hurt that the model had broad shoulders.

A couple "landscapes"

Some others from the shoot...

Ever See a Finer Balustrade?

Now I ask you, have you ever seen a finer example of that particular classic architectural element known as the balustrade?

Anonymity of the Torso

So I got the focus issue figured out with the camera, but not in time for this photo shoot.  Ahh the torso shot... could be that cute boy or hunky man next door.

And then there's the question of, "Is this still artistic?"

And a couple more to finish it off.

Finally, the end...

Ba duh bump, thanks folks, here all week.

Sunless in Seattle

A few more from the area on a cloudy day.

Almost Caught by a Worker

Just wrapped up the sequence of photos this is from just before a park worker appeared...

Saturday in the Park

Recent shoot at a couple different parks in Seattle.  Normally I think B&W is more artistic, but I really like the skin tones against the green and dark grey on the tree and grey of the water behind.
