Apparently yoga is this 'big thing' people do... ;-)  It does make for some cool poses, though.  Going with the color version for a change.

The diagonal shadow was not added later in Photoshop -- there was a stone wall to the right that cast it.  Would have included the wall, but there was an electrical box of some kind and it looked cheesy and I can't have that.

Over-Exposed

This started out as a photograph that was over-exposed.  Then it was fairly highly processed (including over exposing more) to the point that I'm not sure if it technically qualifies as a photograph anymore?  No matter.  I took the original photo, I processed it, I'm calling it art and I'm posting.  ;-)

I've seen some shots where sheer was used and they turned out well.  I wanted to try to recreate one of them and to experiment a bit.  I'm not sure these turned out as well, but they're at least a bit different from the usual stuff...

Here's another recent shoot that is sorta a pin-up pose, but with my twist.  And a bodyscape.

Monday 3/28

All in all, not a bad way to start out the week.  There's a particular shot I've been trying to get and this one comes close. 

Now this one was a "I don't think that's gonna turn out" and I end up liking it.  Don't normally think feet are something I want to photograph, but this one makes me think of some sort of modern art sculpture, this just happens to be legs and feet.

And I do like me some bodyscapes...

So.  I haven't really done much photography the last three years or so.  Thinking maybe I'd give it a shot (pun intended) and see if I want to get back into it.  From Saturday.

I didn't intentionally edit out his head on the one below.  To keep the 8 X 10/11 proportion, it was either his head or Mr Happy.
